pity. i was hoping for a rendition of go-go's "vacation" or maybe even madonna's "holiday". your voice, via leff technology, through nikka speakers makes you sound like you're from the midlands.
happynniversary spoiceblog!

Here's to many more...
7/15/2005 08:37:00 pm

Hi Anthony,
Happy Anniversary to you and Spiceblog! Didn't really expect you to sound like that for some reason. Does that mean I need to get on the bandwagon as well? =P
7/16/2005 12:24:00 pm

How did you podcast this?!
Happy anniversary!!! :-D

Hiya all,not doing a post just saying howdy and thanks for your kind words because it's kind of rude if I don't.
Santos - MC Miker g & Deejay Seven did pass my mind. The nikka speakers do have that effect and are much sought for it by ahmm people that want to sound like they're from Birmingham.
Robert - my bloggy prison
Rakka-thanks and thanks for your help.
Stephanie - sound, it's amazing.
Saffron - away, in the world
Reid - Like Charlton Heston?
Yes.
AG - Thanks. Mebbe, I mean I've got a better voice than most of them (and better looking)
Shina -iPod with mike and http://www.ourmedia.org/ (and er nikka speakers)
Barbara - thanks but sadly I'm back at work.
Anonymous of Floreat - "sound *like*"
AB- cheers
Crafty - dunno about better, maybe more animated (animated hands next)
And ahm OK extra bonus blackmarket audiopost with broken g-string I did before this one
2 year bloggiversary
Don't say I didn't warn you.
7/21/2005 12:48:00 pm
Hey Anthony,
I didn't know you could sing! Must have been all of that practice you got at the karaoke bar huh? =P
7/22/2005 12:31:00 pm
Reid
It's a salutary lesson for the youth of today; there's one way to get to Carnegie hall, and it's practice.
7/22/2005 01:12:00 pm
and thanks Stephanie, it's flown by.
7/22/2005 01:13:00 pm
Arrr Ted, beware! You are in the thrall of the ANTI-MEME
7/24/2005 07:16:00 pm
Oh rats. Does this mean I have to turn my speakers on? (I'm afeared! Who will stop my crying when I find out I need to install a new plugin as well?)
-Elizabeth
7/27/2005 06:38:00 am
I was wrong. It was well worth reaching all the way across the desk to turn on the speakers.
Congratulations and happy anniversary!
(I do wish you'd sung a song though.)

Hi Elizabeth
The mountains you've climbed and rivers you've crossed to hear my voice, deeply touch me. I wish I'd given some sage advice (it's good with pork).
As for the singing, if you head 9 comments North,

Goodness how sad... I'm getting a "connection refused" message for the link to 2 year bloggiversary that is ten comments above.

I'm suspecting that your computer has started to obeyAsimov's First Law of Robotics but you could try here:
http://www.ourmedia.org/node/29482
Lemme know how it goes, it's turning into a gripping techie drama.

Sadder and sadder. I had thought it was going to be a capella but now that I know there is guitar backing as well, I am even more anxious to hear it!! (6 or 12 string?)
(I had forgotten about the 3 Laws - surely this is not the case. I think it is and AI thing and my computer is becoming spiteful.)
-Elizabeth
7/28/2005 08:46:00 pm
I just had to try again and whoohoo!! (I think I mean whoohoo...) It worked.
Your recording is absolutely excellent, especially with the distortions from the mike being a little close to the guitar.
-Elizabeth
P.S. Damn! I really shouldn't have been drinking a predinner glass of wine while I listened to that. Does anyone know if wine droplets are really bad for monitors?
7/29/2005 05:46:00 am
EJM
Your valiant quest has been rewarded. Arise Sir Elizabeth!
The guitar was a five string at the time and the distortions are from the sounds rattling around in the bathroom cabinet.
A bit of salt will fix up that monitor

The ingredients for all these recipes you can get at Online Shopping . All the best to you, on your cooking ventures.

Are you in search of a good amplifier? Then I would suggest you check out the JL car audio 500/1 amplifier. This
amplifier is very efficient and will give little, if any, reason to worry. Here is something more about this
product.
It is a class D amplifier. What does this mean? It means that it belongs to the class of highly efficient amplifiers
that are up to 90% power efficient. This is a great advantage as it means your battery will not be easily run down.
It makes the most efficient use of power when compared to other amplifier classes. And for your car, this is an
invaluable feature.
This amplifier features a 12 inch polymer-coated subwoofer and a 12 inch polymer-coated passive radiator. These two
are responsible for providing ample bass.
