Spiceblog Name That Tune Super Challenge

namethattune

A a bit of background on the whole food rock thing. Chook-Toni Combined Dress Up as an LP Cover Party tonight and there is quite the selection of dishes*. But for you, dear clever readers, a suitable challenge :

Name the song represented by the dish above.

* still saving Veal Young with Crazy Horseradish for the dinner proper.

That Tom Jones one?

"Well she's all you'd ever want,
She's the kind they'd like to flaunt and take to dinner.
Well she always knows her place.
She's got style, she's got grace, She's a winner.
Cheese a Lady. Whoa whoa whoa, Cheese a Lady.
Dylan's "John Wensleydale Harding"?

... even "Loaded" - The Velveeta Underground... then again maybe "Achtung BabyBel" - U2... though with T1 in charge it was never gonna be "Beggar's Banquet."Happy birthday T2. (We are of course, as ever, fashionably late.)

Close but no "banana" GG. Some magnificent additions though and the birthday greeting will be well received.

I deliberately limited ourselves to the cheese theme. Otherwise the World would have been our pun oyster, and it would have been ugly - and interminable.

And I have yet to work out the formatting of Blogger comments - I could have sworn there was a line-break between that bit and the bit after it, or maybe it was the bit before the bit after the bit before. (I feel a 'known' Rumsfeld moment coming on.)

GG I hear the consoling voice of Rummy telling you you have to work with the blogger comments you have, not the blogger comments you might want or wish to have.

Lest people get led away from the answers by the red herrings the answer is of course "Personal Cheeses" by Depeche Mode. Gouda job Santos.
