Exactly as I'd hoped. Just a few minutes of running around Tokyu department store and I was set.
And yes the karaoke accident. Mr Goat was telling me his friend broke his arm in a few places at karaoke once so there ya go.

Yes, I was sure it was going to rain while I was on the train from Nairya airport but it didn't. Kyoto, how gorgeous and I will be taking care, Karaoke is now of the list of things to do and I'll probably stick to shopping and eating.
